Carne en su jugo means “meat in its juices.” It’s a regional dish from Guadalajara, where my family is from 🇲🇽🙌

Updating my Korean corn dog recipe! Last time a lo Updating my Korean corn dog recipe! Last time a lot of you said it was a difficult recipe, so I tested some ways to make it a bit more manageable. 

This is called a “gamja hotdog” in Korean, which translates to “potato hotdog.” The crispy potato pieces on the batter are like French fries and makes this “corn” dog extra bomb and unique! 

A lot of recipes call for using blocks of cheese and hot dog, but I prefer to have both in every bite, and a block of cheese is just too much for me. Try my method of wrapping cheese slices around the hotdog and partially freezing it so it sticks. You can double wrap it too if you prefer more cheese!

@chicken_maison is one of my favorite spots to eat in OC. I recommend it to everyone! I used to eat there at least once a week when I worked near by. I still make the drive or get it when I’m in the area, but it’s so nice to be able to make it at home now 😋

I’ve been trying to crack this recipe for a VERY long time and I think I got it pretty close! It’s just as juicy as their rotisserie chickens and the sauce tastes nearly identical.
