Whiskey Smash

I don’t drink much whiskey anymore, but if I’m gonna have it in a cocktail, it’s gonna be a whiskey smash! They are so refreshing and actually taste really, really good.

Even someone who doesn’t like whiskey will enjoy this drink, I can guarantee it! The combination of citrus + mint + whiskey just works so well. I can honestly drink several of these because they are that good!

To make an excellent whiskey smash, you’ll need a good muddler. We want all the juices and oils released from the lemon wedges and mint leaves. It also helps to use plump & juicy lemons.

As for the sweetener, I am almost always going to use agave nectar for my cocktails! You can use honey or simple syrup if you prefer, but I really recommend getting yourself a bottle of agave nectar.

Salud!
